It was reported yesterday that Afghan officials have seized Iranian weapons including roadside bomb making components smuggled over the border to support Taliban.

While I was working as a CIA agent inside the Revolutionary Guards of Iran, I sent many reports on  Iran’s ambitions of controlling the events in the Middle East. Ahmad Vahidi the current Defense minister of Iran is in charge of the proliferation of arms to All terrorists groups including Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Qadea and he has close ties with the Al Qaeda leaders. He was the previous Quds force commander and is currently on the Interpol’s most wanted list for his involvement in the 1994 bombing of the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, Argentina.They are arming Taliban and Al Qaeda to keep America entangled in Afghanistan.  Iran’s leaders and their proxies know that they will never be able to match America’s military might and that is why Iran pursues the same goals and philosophy as al-Qaeda, in that any effort that puts a strain on the economy of the United States is a legitimate action. Al-Qaeda did that with their suicide attack of 9/11, and Iran is sowing havoc and chaos in Iraq and Afghanistan. They see that as a tool to weaken this superpower.

Knowing the mullahs’ intentions, I am truly puzzled by the confusion of the U.S. media and politicians over the true nature of the Iranian government and the people who run it.

This confusion has had the previous five U.S. presidents and their administrations making mistakes in judgment over Iran — leaving us where we are today. President Obama repeated that very same mistake by thinking appeasement will bring in a change of behavior by the mullahs. He must realize what every administration before his has failed to understand: the ideology of the mullahs is deeply rooted in a fanatical belief and time is running out. Radical Islamists are earnest in their dedication to their cause. I know. I spent years in the foxholes with them.

With Iran today ever closer to building a nuclear bomb and a ballistic missile delivery system that would cover all of Europe, it is most urgent to take serious actions to stop their ambitions, for tomorrow might be too late!
