According to MehrNews, the mouthpiece of the Islamic regime in Iran, Brigadier General Pourdastan, announced today that the Iranian Army will soon stage a major drill to display its might and capabilities. He added that the latest achievements of the Army will also be unveiled.

Commenting on the upshots of the latest naval drill, the Velayat-90, the top general said that the exercise “proved the might and stamina of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces to the world.”

The general added that the reaction of the Islamic Republic to military threats by Western countries will be to defend itself. He also said the enemies at home are “more harmful than those who explicitly challenge us.”

General Pourdastan, like other radicals ruling Iran, is worried about another uprising by the Iranian people similar to the one in 2009. They are fully aware that the majority of Iranians resent and despise the brutal regime and want an end to the Islamic thugocracy in Iran.

The announcement of the upcoming war game by the Iranian Army comes just one day after an announcement by the Revolutionary Guards’ officials of another war game in the Strait of Hormuz to be conducted later in the month of January.
