Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies: Concern for the People of Iran.
TORONTO, ONTARIO,
Reza Kahlili, author of the recent “A Time to Betray”, The Astonishing
Double Life of a CIA Agent Inside the Revolutionary Guards of Iran.,”
which describes his experiences working for the CIA in Iran after the
1979 revolution, works tirelessly on behalf of the people of Iran and
against the current regime of Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.
“The people of Iran desperately want democracy and freedom. We need to
listen to them – and we need to speak for them. Their voices are being
suffocated inside prison walls the mullahs have built,” says Kahlili.
Mr. Kahlili will be joined at the press conference by Marina Nemat, whose
chilling experiences in Iran’s infamous Evin prison are documented in her
novel ‘Prisoner of Tehran’.
Can we avoid an Iranian-triggered nuclear confrontation? Does Iran
deserve membership on the UN Commission the Status of Women? And finally,
is there hope for the people of Iran?
Press Conference Details: PLEASE RSVP

Marina Nemat
