Ahmadinejad Heralds Emergence of Israel-Free Middle-East

04/18/2011 TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated on Monday that the world is now witnessing emergence of a new Middle-East free from the interference and presence of the US and the Zionist regime.

“The regional and the world nations are seeking a new Middle-East and a new world. No doubt emergence of the new Middle-East free from the hegemony of the criminal US and the presence of the fake Zionist regime has happened and enemies of the nations have no choice but to accept their defeat and the nations’ honor,” Ahmadinejad said, addressing annual military parades at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini, South of Tehran.

He further stressed that the history of Zionism and the hegemony of oppressive capitalism over the world is over now, and added, “Their deceptive and bullying policies will no more save them and the plots hatched by the arrogant powers will result in their failure and dishonor.”

Meantime, the Iranian president warned that the Zionist officials of the US are still seeking to save the regime.

Earlier this year, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani had also stressed that the popular uprisings in the Middle-Eastern and North African countries indicate that a new situation and era is arising in the region.

Larijani said the region has entered a new phase following the current revolutions in the Middle-East and North Africa, adding, “Democracy will prevail in such an atmosphere and will benefit independent countries in the region.”

Since early 2011, people across the Middle-East and North Africa have risen to topple their autocratic US-puppet regimes. Muslim nations in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Bahrain are still out in the streets staging massive protests to press the dictatorial regimes in their countries to step down.
